Speak to any performer and they’ll have stories of sleepless nights before auditions, pre-gig anxiety and that inner voice making you question are you good enough to be there at all? Whether you’re preparing for your first audition, open mic night or maybe worrying about that first time performing in front of your new classmates, this session is for you. Join performance coach Lucie Burns, as we look at techniques to help you to counteract or silence the inner critic, which can often hold us back, making room for a more positive outlook towards performance. You will learn ways in which to reinforce positive statements rather than negative ones, enabling you to take complete responsibility for your own performance potential whilst overcoming your performance blocks.

In this Masterclass Lucie Burns aka Lazy Hammock, will give you insights into how she completed and released 10 albums, 4 EP's and 5 singles. She will give you techniques to support you in overcoming the blocks that hold you back from finishing your own tracks and show you the process of how to see a project through from conception to completion, whilst explaining why you can’t just rely on creative inspiration, and how finishing what you started has a direct impact on your self confidence. She will also answer questions about how to overcome many of the challenges that you as a producer, artist or musician may face, including comparing yourself to others, feeling that your music isn't good enough and striving for perfection. The Masterclass is for you if you either feel blocked creatively or if you could do with some motivation to kickstart yourself into finishing your projects.
