She has also taken her work into children's homes, prisons and pupil referral units where it has had an extremely positive impact.
Lucie has coached thousands of performers, musicians, artists, presenters, Influencers and creatives spanning the last 20 years. She decided to found Stage Ready Artists because after teaching for so many years she realised more than anything that many artists needed to learn how to bridge the gap between rehearsing and performing. Even though Lucie is a skilled coach in many areas including; songwriting, vocals and production, she wanted to establish a company based entirely on performance coaching and the building of artist's confidence on and off stage. She knew that a large number of artists felt it incredibly difficult to overcome their fears, connect with their audience and perform with confidence once in a live performance environment or performing online. 'Artists often don't understand why something they love feels so hard and seemingly out of reach, often not realising that performing is a separate skill within itself which needs to be learnt.' She wanted to teach them techniques to master their mindset and overcome their fears whilst giving them a platform where they could finally start to enjoy performing because of their raised confidence.
Lucie provides the missing link for performers so they are able to tap in and unlock their full performance potential, enabling them to step on stage and shine. Lucie encourages artists, performers, presenters and creatives to access her unique and inspiring masterclasses, coaching and courses, so she can share her extensive knowledge and relatable techniques from the fortunate perspective of being both a recording artist and a performance coach.
Lucie's approach is holistic and intuitive, focusing first on the person behind the performer and the undeniable connection between mind, body, emotion and performance. 'Working in this way enables me to not only guide an artist, but to also nurture them emotionally and creatively so that they feel more confident to navigate the obstacles of their chosen profession.' She combines performance, mindset, stage craft and artist development coaching with confidence coaching, mental well-being and personal development techniques, which often result in performers not only progressing and transforming their live performances on stage, but also seeing the positive results translate in their personal lives too, from their shift in mindset to the increased confidence they gain from what they have learnt.
'What motivates me to do what I do, is seeing the transformation in artists once they have learnt to tap into, and unlock their performance and creative potential and see the exciting opportunities and possibilities that can lead from that, both personally and professionally.'
