STAGE READY ARTISTS was founded by Industry Performance and Mindset Coach, Lucie Burns, also known as the Chart-Topping Artist, Song-Writer and Producer Lazy Hammock who is signed to Diventa Music and has produced and written 10 albums. Her tracks are licenced to labels including; Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Sony BMG, Universal, EMI and most notably to the US TV channel CBS, for the hit sitcom 'Life In Pieces,' watched by an audience of 10 million+.
Lucie has coached thousands of performers, musicians, artists, presenters and creatives spanning the last 20 years. She decided to set up Stage Ready Artists because she wanted to bridge the gap between the rehearsal and the live performance stages. She knew that a large number of artists felt it incredibly difficult to overcome their fears, connect with their audience and perform with confidence once in a live performance environment or from streaming online. 'Artists often don't understand why something they love feels so hard and seemingly out of reach, often not realising that performing is a separate skill within itself which needs to be learnt.' She wanted to teach them techniques to master their mindset and overcome their fears whilst giving them a platform where they could finally start to enjoy performing because of their raised confidence. Lucie provides the missing link for performers so they are able to tap in and unlock their full performance potential, enabling them to step on stage and shine. Lucie wants artists, performers, presenters and creatives to be able to access her unique and inspiring masterclasses, coaching and courses, so she can share her extensive knowledge and relatable techniques from the fortunate perspective of being both a recording artist and a performance coach.
Lucie's skills are highly sought after. She most recently featured on the C4 documentary 'Grime up North,' where she was brought in to coach Josh Tate a.k.a Little T, the YouTube 'Grime' sensation, to prepare him for his live stage shows. She is also on the team at B.I.M.M Institute, London, where she works as a freelance Performance Coach on their 'Professional Musicianship' degree course, and also devises and delivers Performance Masterclasses for the students. Lucie has worked for many other companies and organisations including; The BBC, T.E.D (The Entertainment Department), Rock School, Point Blank and CM. She has also taken her work into children's homes, prisons and Pupil Referral Units where it has had an extremely positive impact.
Lucie's approach is holistic and intuitive, combining performance, mindset, stagecraft and artist development coaching with mindfulness, well-being, confidence coaching and personal development techniques, which often result in performers not only progressing and transforming their live performances on stage, but also seeing the positive results translate in their personal lives too, from their shift in mindset to the increased confidence they have gained from what they have learnt.
